I ask myself those same questions every day when I'm still in my bed at 5:30 and the ladies are praying and singing with Franckis. And again at noon when I finally have a few minutes of quiet, but everyone else is praying and singing in the baby room. And a third time at 8 every night, when I finish in the office or go to the tent and don't spend time in prayer. I have truly been wrestling with these things.

Praying for you and understand well all that you are experiencing! We arrived on a Sat. night and Eric had to preach impromptu through a translator for the Sunday morning service as well! Thank you for posting so we know how to pray!
What is the name of the church Pierre Pastor's? Several asked me if he Pastored a church while I was there last week, but I coudn't remember. I would like to give my missionary friends your contact #. Should I give them Pierre's or do you have a personal number while you are there?

Also can you ask Pierre about our mission trip group ministering to the tent city orphanage (if he can guide us there) in March? We are coming the 12th-17th.

Yep! You are in Haiti alright! I can totally relate to your "you know you are in Haiti when...". However, you are blessed to have air conditioning from 6-6. We had none at all! I recently returned from my second trip. We are adopting two girls from another orphanage in the area. I have met you a few times. Our son Ethan will be attending the Master's School in the Fall, so hope to get to know you better! Thank you for being there! Thank you for praying over those precious kids! Thank you for sharing their stories! I left half my heart in Haiti on April 23rd the first time I left. I will never be the same. It is so great to have Zach home. I am getting a debriefing that will probably continue for quite some time. Wow - the videos, the stories, the heartbreak, the hand of God in it all... It is overwhelming to hear about - I can't imagine what it must be like to experience it for two weeks. Praying for ya'll and praising God for ALL that He is doing. He is so incredible and nothing is impossible with Him. I am pretty blown away by Him right now!

I have been reading your blog and am amazed at your words. I am sad you are on Cipro but it is such a blessing that it exists. My sister took it after returning from the Dominican Republic. I love the way the Lord has prepared you with scriptures for each day and moment and with songs to match. Hearts are being changed. I can't wait to arrive tomorrow. I'm so ready to bathe/feed/play with babies. The whole luggage claim process has me a little frightened though. Hope you guys get lots of pictures of downtown and the palace ruins, just in case we don't get to see it. Missing you and wishing I'd been able to travel with you. Much love.
